Salt and Pepper Squid using Lamyong Vegan Calamari

Do I rate it? Yes.

Price: Its about $10 or so for 600grams at the asian grocer.

As a squid subsitute this Lamyong Vegan Calamari is pretty good. It has a seaweedy ocean smell to it and the texture is chewy and pleasant.

I defrosted the faux squid pieces and then floured, egg and covered in panic crumbs. They only needed to be cooked for 60 seconds.

The faux squid has a white interior and went really well with the panko breadcrumbs. I added some extra lemon pepper to give it a zing.
